The fourth release from The Perth Mints Fire Engines of the World Series this coin depicts a 1934 Commer Fire Engine. The coin is struck from 1oz of 99. 9 pure silver. Built in Britain this 1934 Commer was the only fire engine available to attend the initial call from Coventry Cathedral following the German Luftwaffe raid on the night of 14 November 1940. The cathedral burned with the city having been hit by several incendiary devices. Issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of the Cook Islands it depicts Raphael Makloufs effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse. Each coin is housed in an eyecatching red presentation case accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity. Each case comes within a shipper depicting fire fighters.
