The fifth release from the Mints Fire Engines of the World Series this coin depicts a 1923 Loschfahrzeug LF 15. The coin is struck from 1oz of 99. 9 pure silver. Made by C. D. Magirus Corp the LF 15 was originally used by the fire department at Siemens. Acquired later by the Berlin Fire Department where it is now preserved the appliance carried nine firemen and a driver and could deliver 1500 litres of water per minute. Issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of the Cook Islands the coin depicts Raphael Makloufs effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse. The coin is housed in an eyecatching red presentation case accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity. Each case comes within a shipper depicting fire fighters. No more than 5000 of these coins will be released
